My Testimony

My dear brothers and sisters.

We are all God's children.  He loves us and wants us to be happy.  I know my Heavenly Father loves me, and I love Him. He has done so much for me.  I know He sent His only begotten son to live, die and resurrect for us.  Jesus loves us indefinitely.  He wants us to follow Him.  I know that the only way to be saved is in and through Christ and His atonement.  I love Him with all my heart and only wish to serve Him by following His example.  I will stand as a witness of Christ at all times, in all things and in all places.
Brothers and sisters, God loves you. He loves me.  He knows me better than I know myself.  He knows how many hairs you have on your head and He is aware of everything you do and say and think. I  know that this is His true gospel.  I know that Thomas S. Monson is our living prophet who leads us and guides us down the right path.  I hope that each of us can feel our Heavenly Father's love for us as we live in today's busy chaotic world. I thank God for everything He has given me.
I bear this testimony to you that you may go understand who I am, what I stand for.
I bear this in the name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen

Sometimes I wish I could fly,

To be free like the birds above,
To be able to see all I can see,
And still be close to all that I hold dear,

To be free to me means to fight,
To fight for what I believe in,
And not give into the evils of this world,
It means you have the opportunity to show love,
Worship in any way you choose,
I want to keep that

Freedom is very important to me and many others,
We may fight to keep it that way,
And we will use it every chance we get,

However, freedom does not come free,
We are where we are because our founding fathers put their trust in God,
They were not afraid to die for what they believe in,

The men and women who fought in the revolutionary war
Were willing and did lose their lives so we can be where we are today,
Why, even if didn't have our civil war, we wouldn't be united as we are today,
our fights, our wars, and our battles were fought  for reasons sometimes ludicrous to the human mind,

But if we did not fight, we would not be here,
In this free country, to worship God how we choose,
To have the true and everlasting gospel on this earth today,
Because we are free, we now have the Gospel of Jesus Christ on this planet once again,
We have a living prophet who leads and guides us in this time when we prepare to receive the Savior once again...

Brothers and Sisters,
This is my testimony,
I know that Christ will come again,
And that we are this free country so we can worship Him,
I know that we have a living prophet who leads us against the evils of this world,
I love my Savior and am ever grateful for His sacrifice,
May we all have a safe and fun Fourth
MAY GOD BLESS YOU!

Well, I just had a great Fourth of July weekend.

It all started thursday night when we had pizza and movies...yummy!
Then the next morning, bright and early, we had our wards flag raising ceremony..it was awsome! My dad conducted it..it was pretty cool.
Then after that, we went to Plano's parade!  It was a blast!  Emily and I had so much fun!
Then, because we got up so early, we decided to take a power nap..well, who knew that it took up the rest of the day?
Then at about 6pm, we headed down to where the fireworks were going to go off..little did we know that we would get a front row seat!!!!!
IT WAS AMAZING!!!!  :]]
It was really loud too...oh well.

Now I am just chilling at home, and mom  is reading twilight aloud..the best romance ever!
Well, that was my holiday.
Hope you had a great Fourth..may God bless this wonderful country and God bless those who fight and die to keep it free for me...THANK YOU!
GOD BLESS YOU
